This will become a “blast tank” for use by researchers for testing ballistic material at military research centers and universities. Here, we’re working on it with our TOS WHQ 15 horizontal boring mill. It is being fabricated with 3/4” thick rolled plate with 1-1/2” thick waterjet cut heads. The entire tank is 100 percent welded inside and out and finished machined.
